Since I started going through the lagoons have always thought that there is a species that deserves special attention and, therefore, the wetland as well. This is the reed bunting, a small passerine who visit in winter come from central and northern Europe. In Spain there are some small spots where it reproduces, but very, very low.
On day 21, a new visit to atarceder, I saw my first swamp of the year. I also saw a lot. Oídan is everywhere and, as you walked along the gaps, the claim was constant. I think with the flags there this year, the winter can be tremendous. I could make some pictures to this one, a short but to the light ...
The other birds seen were: - big Sandpiper: 1 ej.
- Common Snipe: 1 ej.
- Heron: 1 ej.
- Lapwing: a large group northwest of the gaps in a freshly tilled field. EJS 481 Conté. but would probably have well over 500 and that, in my position could not be all.
- Teal: 3 EJS. (1 m. and 2 pm)
- Water Pipit: 2 EJS. first to see this winter as well. addition, azulones, common coots and grebes. In the grove surrounding a multitude of birds with: chiffchaff, blackcap, blue tit, great tit, several species of finches (common bunting, goldfinch, chaffinch, linnet and serin), robin, song thrush (very abundant) and thrush Charlo, Cirl Bunting and match, woodpecker, stock dove and wood pigeon. Photo of two of the latter.
The shores of the lakes common with hundreds of pipits and dozens of white laundry.
