These globular fed with mighty spines attached to the body, belong to the central-west of the province of Cordoba, The Cumbrecita way, in the mountains of comechingones.
cacti not know much about Argentina, but it would seem a monvillei Gymnocalycium, or some variant. It would be better to have found in the spring.
