Notocactus Turecekianus

This "novel" representatives of the Notocactus (Parody today) is one of the few copies that were in habitats I visited recently compared with several visits in the late 80's. At that time, was a native forest on silt Pampa, intricate and fruitful vegetation, where you could find great examples of this kind, with its typical caracterísitcas both the areola with his outstanding backbone, as gray-purple coloration and spectacular flowering. There were fish up to 20-24 cm in diameter. Today, however, this rich but small habitat was destroyed as a result of having chosen by the owner of the establishment as a place for cattle to cross the stream to drink water, so it was cut down most trees and these important animals for our economy (although in this case and completely detrimental to our interest) were ordered to raze what was left of it. Also, I found several holes, which I hint at, to top it off, having suffered a cactus sellers predation on a large scale, as it searched for this species. Well, enjoy these photos (in the second accompanied by W. Tetracantha), because in the conditions of this habitat was, few years that may take.

Running Sayings On T Shirts For Women

Opuntia aurantiaca Opuntia

This small representative of the Opuntia forms large clumps of low height, about 30-60 cm high, sometimes leaning on other plants. It has a particular form of transportation of its segments for the purpose of generating new plants, it does because of the way terminal spines - as wavy arrows - to help her get pinned to their suffering carriers (eg, cattle, dogs, men ) and the ease to detach them from the parent plant. So that their areolas are numerous, being quite rough, with orbicular, hairy, hairy.
